North Carolina Glass Center

River Arts District

The North Carolina Glass Center is a nonprofit public access facility dedicated to education, exploration, and collaboration in all forms of glass. Their building contains a gallery, exhibit space, hot shop, flame shop and cold shop. They have over 60 artists that work and sell out of their space.

Stop by to take a browse through their fine glass gallery and view live hot glass blowing demonstrations or sign up for a workshop. They are open Wednesday - Monday 10am-5pm.

French Broad Chocolate Lounge

After learning their trade in Costa Rica, Jael and Dan Rattigan set up shop in Asheville. Asheville Art Museum

Asheville Gallery of Art

The Asheville Gallery of Art, the longest-established fine arts gallery in Asheville, is celebrating 30 years in business.

Founded in historic downtown in 1988, before our city became the thriving art mecca that it is today, AGA represents the vision of some of Asheville's most talented artists. As a 31-member cooperative, each gallery artist is a co-owner who not only displays artwork at the gallery but works to keep the business running. In fact, each day one of their artists clerks at the gallery.
